Chapter 5

Ten minutes later hot water cascaded over Jamey’s aching muscles still twitching from the lack of release after his punitive measures on Bo at the hayloft. And Bo’s strong, muscular arms wound around his waist and chest from behind as he rocked back and forth, his hardening cock nestled between Jamey’s ass cheeks already quivering in anticipation of his lover’s entry. Soap suds covered his white skin in pearly bubbles as Bo’s hands delivered on the promise he’d made before, wandering all over to clean him and tease him mercilessly, languorously along the way.

“Are you done any time soon?” Jamey whispered breathlessly, his voice sounding awfully loud even through the rushing water, echoing on the tiled walls.

Bo chuckled low, tauntingly. “You punished me before. Now it’s my turn to have my revenge, pup, and it will be sweet.”

Jamey heard himself growl but a good deal of that was lust instead of frustration. “I never knew you could be such a hard-ass, cowboy. I guess it’s true that payback’s a bitch no matter where you are.” Bo laughed and continued to pin Jamey against his broad, firm chest with muscles that just begged to be licked and fondled all over. And Jamey was so up for that.

But he’d also opened up to Bo in a way he’d not done with anyone other than Jayden. When Bo had dropped his masculine shield and allowed the smaller, slimmer man to enter his body and take him for a ride, Jamey had, for the first time ever, seen a man who wasn’t afraid to be himself even if it meant doing something people might consider less than befitting for a man. It was especially noteworthy in this rural setting, a landscape of men with a capital M. It took a strong man to admit what he wanted, and to pursue it with vigor. A man like Bo.

To that effect, Jamey was dying to know more about Bo, too. Resting his head on Bo’s shoulder, Jamey asked quietly, “Have you ever had a serious relationship?”

When Bo didn’t answer straight away, Jamey worried he’d wandered into private property and would end up getting shot for his troubles. But when Bo just continued to cradle him in his arms sweetly, still rock-hard against his crease, Jamey knew better. To Jamey, Bo was definitely an acquired taste, and he was starving for more of both his flesh and of his inner self.

“Twice,” Bo said in a hushed tone, sounding more sad than miffed. “And twice I was abandoned. One guy traveled across the country after a job, while the other hopped into another bed after a hot piece of ass—that wasn’t mine.”

“Was either of those by any chance Clayton Jennings?” Jamey felt uncertain. It was always awkward to talk about past affairs with a current lover, especially about one who lived in the same town and still held high hopes of getting back together.
